Pocky and Shiba

My Dogs

Here are a couple photos of the dogs behind the inspiration and the paw-print cards...

"Shiba"

She is a Mame-Shiba (豆柴), the literal meaning being "Bean Shiba." As uncreative as her name is, we couldn't decide on a name for her and called her "Shiba," but before we knew it, she responded to that name. We felt too bad to change it and it suits her so her name is Shiba.

"Pocky"

He is a chihuahua, although he is peculiarly large for one, and is the older of out two dogs. His name was comes from a Japanese snack called pocky, which my sister realized his hand looked like, and that is how we decided on the name pocky.
